Yes, you can basically remove the gel strips using the Doonails remover oil only. To do this, apply a generous amount of Doonails remover oil to the nails and nail edges and repeatedly stroke under the gel strips with the rosewood stick. Also, keep dipping the rosewood stick in the remover oil. However, the oil bath is the more careful and softer removal method, as it avoids damage to the natural nail, which can occur when the gel strips are pulled off.
