Breaking or splitting is usually caused by one of the following:
Preparation: Your natural nails were not properly prepared.
Push back your cuticles, lightly buff the nail surface, and clean your nails with the included wipe.
Do not use hand cream or nail oil about 30 minutes beforehand.
Size: If the press-on is too large, it extends beyond the nail edge and can break more easily.
Choose a slightly smaller size and file the sides to fit.
Pressure during application: Press the press-on firmly for at least 60 seconds after applying – especially along the edges and tip. The better the contact, the stronger the hold.
Water exposure: Avoid contact with water during the first hour after application.
Moist nails expand and the glue adheres less effectively.
Stress: For heavy mechanical strain (cleaning, gardening, sports), we recommend wearing gloves to protect your nails.
For dipping powder: Apply thin, even layers and follow the drying times (2 minutes each for activator and top coat).
If the problem persists despite correct application, contact our customer care team with photos – we’ll find a solution together.
