My nails have discoloration, stains, or visible defects. What causes this?

Modified on Thu, 16 Apr at 11:37 AM

Discoloration can have several causes:

Yellowing: Light shades may turn slightly yellow due to UV exposure (sun, tanning beds).
This is a normal chemical process and not a quality defect.
If exposed to strong sunlight, consider applying a UV-protective top coat.

Spots or bubbles: These are often caused by trapped air during application.
Press the press-on firmly from the center outward and make sure no air is trapped.

Color variation: The actual color may vary slightly from what you see in the shop depending on your screen settings.

Brown spots under the nail: This may indicate a fungal infection or a reaction of your natural nail and is not related to the press-on. If concerned, please consult a doctor.

If you received a clearly defective product (e.g. damaged or discolored nails from production), please send photos to our customer care team. We will review it and find a solution.
