I keep getting my Gel Strips stuck in my hair. What am I doing wrong?

If your gel manicure gets caught in your hair, it’s usually due to small liftings – tiny air gaps between the natural nail and the UV gel strip surface. These often occur due to less-than-optimal nail preparation.

Make sure to thoroughly remove the invisible cuticle and keep the nail surface clean and free of oils. Only then can the strips adhere properly.

Also, press the strips firmly after applying – especially at the edges and tips – and cure them 2 × 60 seconds under the UV LED lamp. Rotate your fingers slightly left and right during curing so the sides cure completely.

Important: Your UV gel strips should not come into contact with daylight or sunlight before application, as this can cause them to cure prematurely and lose flexibility.

If you follow all these steps, liftings – and therefore hair getting caught – should no longer be an issue.
