Important in advance: Perform the application away from sunlight, as the natural UV light can allow the gel strips to harden prematurely. We recommend covering the gel strips with the protective cover between each application step in order to protect them from natural UV light.

STEP 1 - Prepare natural nail

File the natural nail into the desired shape. Gently push back cuticles with the enclosed rosewood stick. Roughen the nail surface with the buffer, removing the thin cuticle layer at the base of the nail plate.

The preparation of the natural nail is crucial for a long-lasting and beautiful result.

STEP 2 - Clean natural nail

Thoroughly clean nails with the enclosed cleaning cloth.

STEP 3 - Select size

Hold the gel strips over the nail and select the appropriate size. If there are uncertainties in the size selection, it is better to choose a smaller size so as not to stick the gel strip on the cuticle or over the edge of the nail. This can cause the gel strip to peel off and affect its durability.

Tip: In the case of short natural nails, the gel strip can be divided in the middle, so the gel strip is sufficient for a second application.

STEP 4 - Stick on gel strips

Peel off the protective film from the gel strip. Stick the gel strip onto the nail. Here it is important not to stick it to the cuticle or beyond the edge of the nail. Carefully spread the gel strip from the middle outwards. Gently press the edges with the rosewood stick.

STEP 5 - Shorten gel strips

Cut off the protruding gel strip at some distance from the nail tip and fold it under the nail tip so that it is well enclosed.

STEP 6 - File off gel strips

Always carefully file the folded gel strip in one direction – from the sides to the middle of the nail – until it comes loose. It is important to apply enough pressure so that you do not have to file in one direction too often. Never tear off the gel strip to avoid damaging it. Finally, press the gel strip firmly once more.

STEP 7 - Hardening gel strips

Place the index, middle, ring and little finger in the middle under the UV LED lamp and harden for 2 x 60 seconds. Carefully harden the nail edges as well. To do this, occasionally turn the nails to the left and right under the UV LED lamp. Harden the thumb separately. The UV LED lamp switches off automatically after 60 seconds. After hardening, the nail tip can be re-filed.

NOTE - Alternative to Step 6

If difficulties arise when filing the gel strip BEFORE hardening, it can also be filed into shape AFTER hardening. To do this, cut the gel strip close to the tip of the nail after application, press on firmly, harden under the UV LED lamp for 2 x 60 seconds and file the gel strip into shape.

Tip: With very short natural nails, filing can be more pleasant after hardening.

→ OPTIONAL for maximum shine & durability

STEP 08 - Apply UV top coat

Apply UV top coat with slow brush strokes and cover the nail tip well.

Important: Apply only a thin layer of UV top coat so that it does not run into the edges. Lacquer the thumb separately and harden immediately.

STEP 09 - Hardening UV top coat

Place the index, middle, ring and little finger again in the middle under the UV LED lamp and harden for 2 x 60 seconds. Carefully harden the nail edges as well. To do this, occasionally turn the nails to the left and right under the UV LED lamp. Harden the thumb separately. The UV LED lamp switches off automatically after 60 seconds. After hardening, the nail tip can be re-filed.
