Why can I seemingly log in again after deleting my account?

Modified on Mon, 20 Apr at 2:12 PM

When you request the deletion of your account, your personal data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), unless there are legal retention obligations.
If you later enter your email address again, you will receive a login code for technical reasons. However, this does not mean access to your old account.
What exactly happens?
  •  Your original account has been deleted and no longer exists.
  •  By re-entering your email address, no existing account is restored. Instead, a new access (or a new, empty account) is created.
  •  No old data, orders, or personal information are restored.
What this means:
Even if it looks like you can log in again, this is not your previous account, but a new registration without your old data.
